Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener part ways

According to court papers, filed June 8 and released Monday, the couple legally separated back in May 2005.In the documents Mulroney requests joint legal and physical custody of their sole child, a son, and for property rights to be determined by the courts.People reports that "Keener has been nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar twice, in 2000 for Being John Malkovich, and in 2006 for her role as Haper Lee in Capote." Mulroney is currently scheduled for pre-production in the feature film, "Six Bullets From Now", scheduled to start filming in the tri state area in early fall.
