Simon Pegg says the most rock 'n' roll thing he has ever done is flush a birthday cake down a hotel toilet.
The 'Hot Fuzz' star was given a complimentary birthday cake while staying in a top US hotel but didn't have time to eat it, so he disposed of it in an unusual way.
Pegg's 'Hot Fuzz' and 'Shaun of the Dead' co-star Nick Frost told Loaded magazine: "Some of the posh hotels in the States leave you a big cake if they know it's your birthday. We didn't have time to eat it, so we flushed it down the toilet instead. It gave us a lot of joy. We've done it three times now and the clips are on YouTube.com."
It seems the pair may have started a new craze with their cake-flushing antics.
Pegg said: "If you have never done it you should try it, but it works best if you use an American toilet - they're more powerful. We even did it on an American TV show. And other people are doing it now on YouTube."
Pegg, 37, will return to cinema screens later this year in 'Run, Fat Boy, Run', which is directed by 'Friends' star David Schwimmer.
