British singer Morrissey wants to be buried in the Hollywood Forever cemetery.
Morrissey recently visited the cemetery, where several stars are buried, and now has his heart set on reserving a plot for his final resting place.
The 48-year-old singer was quoted in Britain's Daily Record newspaper as saying: "I like Hollywood Forever. I've sat there for a very long time and felt quite good about it.
"I always felt I wanted nothing more than my name, birth date, death date and all three names, Stephen Patrick Morrissey, on my gravestone. I've even considered putting money down for reserving a spot."
If Morrissey, who rose to fame in the 80s as The Smiths frontman, is laid to rest in the cemetery he will join the likes of legendary musicians Dee Dee and Johnny Ramone, and Oscar-winning actress Janet Gaynor.
Hollywood Forever, located on Los Angeles' Santa Monica Boulevard, offers a range of special services, including worldwide webcasts of funeral services.
