A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. has announced that the Paris Hilton press conference is scheduled to start in the next hour.
TMZ.com has broken the story, and soon heiress Paris' prison ordeal will be a fleeting memory and yet another opportunity for her to mine for disgusting amounts of cash in tell-alls and book deals.
Soon, the 26-year old celebrity partygirl's "nightmare" will be over, and she seems to have escaped without any cavity searches, flesh eating diseases and unfortunate prison sex incidents.
"TMZ has learned that Paris Hilton has not only had her sentence cut short, she is already out of jail" Blazed headlines at TMZ.com
"The deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early early this morning."
Hilton's doctors claimed she was allegedly cracking from stress in the pokie.
CNN has the live feed of the Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore and their announcement. Originally she was sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days -- the normal stay for a violation of this kind.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Department Whitmore states she will be reassigned to her home, to wear an electronic ankle bracelet, and she is confined to her home for the next 40 days, her sentence is back up to 45 days, and under the supervision of the LA County probation department.
Her sentence is nearly doubled because she will be home, and the Sheriffs said she was "focused" when hearing her new rules of confinement.
Reporters have pressed the spokesman for the Sheriff's saying Paris came to jail, "didn't like it" and was cut loose early and given special treatment, that the LA County Sheriff's completely backed down from what was supposed to be done.

Throw the skank back in, do the world a favor!
So, you are saying if the bracelet bruise her ankle you will take it away? You people are shameful, a sentence is a sentence, why the preferential treatment? Oh! you started ot big and bold but you cave, it jail not hotel hilton.
What a farce. As Orwell put it in Animal Farm. Animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. Or something to that effect. I guess being away from her cell phone was enough to give her a mini nervous breakdaown.
I'm so sick of seeing this nonsense in our supposedly free and equal society. Does anyone here think that they'd be treated as fairly as Rushbo, Paris, or Scooter for that matter?
I'm going out to commit some crimes. I don't know what, but I just want to get away with something. We live in an Orwellian society.
Totally absurd.
My God!!!!
I can smell the stink of injustice all the way from Los Angeles to
here!!!!!!! Come on Governor Schwarzenegger! You softened the D.A's
appropriate recommendations once and now a 'committee of loonies in the L.A. Sherriff's department feel it is THEIR place to 'rewrite the laws!!
Bullshit! Don't you have the guts to haul these liberals out of their chairs
by the G---mn ears and teach them that Governors ENFORCE the laws for Poor people AND rich people in the same tones???????
Wake the hell up Arnold!! Do Something and save yourself future embarassment from the people who elected you!!
What an absolute joke... other prisoners don't get freed because they're 'under stress'. This girl has sunk even further in my opinion than I would have thought possible, and that's beginning with a zero rating. Although her family's money will never run out, one day she'll grow old and ugly, that's the only positive thing I can say.
i plan on killing my wife of 31 years
if we move to california first mabey i won't go to prison .
i have a few bucks
How much money did she slip the cops for her release? Justice in the USA is a big wank!
I just can't believe (or can I?) that these supposed lawmen think they can change the rules just to suit themselves or crumble under some sort of celebrity pressure. This whole situation is making a mockery out of our already tainted justice system. Normally I just ignore all the celeb hype and gossip, but this whole thing is just wrong and maybe, just maybe, if enough citizens speak out....aw, who am I kidding: we'd all have to be rich enough to pad the pockets of anyone's influence we needed.
