Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese are set for a custody battle over their collection of dead pets.
The shock rocker wants his stuffed animals, which include a peacock and two monkeys, back from estranged wife Dita.
Marilyn is quoted as saying: "I have four taxidermied baboons, two monkeys, a white peacock, a turtle and a wild boar.
"I went through a dramatic lifestyle change with my home after the break-up. I left it. When you get separated, you lose so much. I don't what she'll say when I ask for them back."
Marilyn, who is famed for his gothic image and love of the macabre, dated Dita for five years before they married in 2005.
The 'Eat Me, Drink Me' singer and 34-year-old burlesque dancer announced their split in January.
Marilyn recently said the breakdown of their relationship left him feeling "destroyed".
He revealed: "I came out of this naked, a featherless bird. I was completely destroyed. I had no soul left."
Marilyn is now dating 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood, who he says has become his "muse".
