Actor Tom Sizemore, who plead no contest to a drug-possession charge last year, was arrested again in Los Angeles on the courthouse steps, for suspicion of violating probation stemming from his alleged use of crystal meth outside a Bakersfield hotel.

Sizemore, 45, was taken into custody at the Airport Courthouse on La Cienega Boulevard before noon, said Jane Robison, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney's office to the Los Angeles Times.
Superior Court Judge Cynthia Rayvis set a hearing that will determine if Sizemore will be allowed to post bail or stay in custody until the next scheduled court date.
The Times reported that Sizemore was serving a 36-month probation sentence after pleading no contest back in January 2006 to possession of methamphetamine.
Sizemore was given a break and granted probation, avoiding a possible 16 month sentence, after crying and revealing his drug addiction in the courtroom.
Allegedly the DA's office now wants Sizemore's probation to be revoked so he can begin serving jail time for his previous drug conviction.
Sizemore mini-crimeline:
The Times notes February 2005, "Sizemore failed a court-ordered drug test after he was caught trying to use a prosthetic penis to fake the results and was ordered into drug rehabilitation."
August 2003: "Convicted of misdemeanor charges of harassing and physically abusing 'Hollywood Madam' and ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss."
Sizemore played Sergeant Mike Horvath in the criticaly acclaimed "Saving Private Ryan."
