Hugh Grant is in a hurry to get married now he's getting old.

"Beansy" EPA/SOEREN STACHE The 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' star - who split from his girlfriend of three years Jemima Khan in February - doesn't want to be single, but is still scared by commitment.Hugh told The Daily Telegraph's Mandrake column: "It's true that my age sometimes worries me."Each birthday is an almost unpleasant date. I told myself that being single in your thirties is fine. But at 46 it's a bit worrying."I would like to get married but at the same time I'm horrified by those couples that I see around me and the lack of affection and passion that can result from the passing of time."But the actor - who has just had charges against him dropped for throwing a tub of baked beans at a photographer - is happy to talk about his love life.He said: "I understand where the interest comes from."When I think about actors, I prefer to know who they're going to bed with than what their next film will be."(C) BANG Media International
