Ellen Barkin wants to remain a sex symbol for as long as possible.

The 53-year-old 'Ocean's Thirteen' actress is proud to be considered a screen beauty and wants to be lusted after for years to come.
She said in an interview with Arena magazine: "I don't mind the label. I'll hang on to it for as long as they'll let me, thank you very much. I'm a timeless, ageless sex symbol.
"I enjoy the label more as I get older, although I always liked it. But as I get older, I love it."
Despite being considered a sex symbol, Barkin insists she was "never the pretty girl in my generation".
The actress - who shot to fame in the film 'Diner' in 1982 - added: "There were a lot of classically beautiful actresses in my generation and I certainly wasn't one of them. I was in the offbeat category."
But Barkin thinks she has a different type of sex appeal to her contemporaries.
She said: "I think I have an interesting kind of sexuality. It's not always what they want, out there in Hollywood. They tend to like the fragile girl more and I think my sexuality is more male than female."
'Ocean's Thirteen' premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 24 and opens worldwide later this month.
