This article has eliminated some of the details.

This is NOT the story that the original owners first told reporters.

This pig was a domesticated pet and was a pet, they said. It had been taught to trust and love people. Fred played with the original owner's grandchildren, and their tiny dog. They fed him canned yams as a treat. He was a gentle, loving giant.

Now that they are being criticized, their story is changing.

Please read about 'canned hunting.' This is not hunting. This is psychopathic activity.

the article is a follow up to the original article, and includes all the post Fred
revelations, and I agree with you, hunting a domesticate 'pet' is a travesty.

an animal hand raised like a pet is set loose in a contained area to kill like fish in a barrel-that is f-ing mean, it is a travesty,I agree

a number of years ago in mio mich.
some hunters where murdered and feed to thier pig's.
once a pig gets a taste of humans there will kill anyone.
pig will eat anything..so stop your p&m ing..
