A-Rod's Vegas indiscretions catching up with him

Most people assume the majority of major sports figures cheat or are at least tempted mightily by the sports groupies that stalk them.  Usually too, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but not for A-Rod (Alex Rodriguez).

The New York Post has a picture of NY Yankee star Alex Rodriguez out on the town with a mystery blonde. TMZ.com did some digging, and of course the woman turned out to not be his wife, and apparently has been seen with A-Rod frequently in Sin City.

Unfortunately, something a few years ago would have been easier to conceal is now front page fodder in the internet and wired world.  Tabloids pay big bucks for snitches in hotels, restaurants and other service based industries that cater to the famous.  There is simply no hiding anymore.

Sources in Las Vegas told TMZ that the well-paid Baseballer was at "super hot nightclub" at the Wynn Hotel on May 13th, "sitting at a table with his blonde companion. The two were living it up near the 90-foot waterfall, drinking two bottles" of a premium vodka.

TMZ spies tell that the Baseball star left around 2:00 AM, and allegedly the two "headed over to the Mirage the next day, where he and the blonde participated in a private event at the pool, featuring staff from Bare Lounge."

Diamond and jewelry dealers in New York are anticipating a robust Summer in sales, if A-Rod follows the lead of Kobe Bryant's "gift" to his wife post Colorado "incident" of a ring worth millions and millions of dollars.
