Katie Holmes' icy treats

Katie Holmes treated the cast and crew of her new film to snow cones last week.

The 28-year-old actress - who brings tasty snacks to the 'Mad Money' set every Friday - surprised everybody by organising for a truck to visit the Louisiana set to hand out the flavoured ice goodies.

An insider told People magazine: "There were snow cones in every flavour you could think of.

"We're always wondering all week, 'What's Katie going to do this Friday?' The snow cones were great because it's in the high 80s. They melt fast, but it's great."

Katie - who stars alongside Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton in the comic heist movie - has previously treated the 300-strong cast and crew to ice cream, pizza, coke floats and cupcakes.

A source revealed: "It all started the last Friday in April when it got really hot and Katie brought in 300 ice cream cones.

"The next week she arranged for over 80 pizzas to be flown in from Chicago and baked nearby.

"It was a lot of pizza. We had vegetarian, sausage, pepperoni. It was good pizza. One week we got cupcakes. They were good, too."

Katie's husband Tom Cruise and their one-year-old daughter Suri are also regular visitors to the set.

Last Friday (25.05.07), Katie arrived with Suri but without Tom.

A source said: "She was walking down the hall, someone waved and said 'hi,' and she just giggled. She's a happy baby."
