Kelly Brook's near drowning on set

Kelly Brook almost died drowning during the filming of her new movie.
The British star was dressed in a mermaid costume and filming an underwater stunt for 'Fishtales' when she hit her head on a submerged pillar.
Because her legs were strapped together, terrified Kelly couldn't swim to safety and had to be rescued by divers.
The brunette actress, who stars in 'Fishtales' alongside fiancé Billy Zane, said: "In one scene, I held my breath as long as I could underwater. Then I shot up and smacked my head on a huge column which was part of a Grecian temple set.
"It was quite a bang and there was no way I could climb out on my own."
Despite the scare, Kelly loved filming the movie as she got to live out a childhood fantasy.
She added in an interview with Britain's New magazine: "The costume was buoyant and so I didn't feel too unsafe. It's every little girl's dream to be a mermaid so when I was offered the part I thought, 'Fabulous - I get to work with my fiancé, be on a Greek island and be a mermaid.' "
