Paris Hilton will lose weight, gain "street cred' and look more beautiful after she goes to prison, her friends claim.
Pals of the hotel heiress - who has been sentenced to 23 days in jail for driving with a suspended licence - believe Paris' imprisonment will be good for her.
Fashion designer Alvin Valley, a good friend of the socialite, said: "Prison will be the best thing that ever happened to Paris Hilton."
Another pal said: "It's going to make her more famous than ever. In jail, she's going to get enviably skinny, and without any make-up or products her hair and skin will finally be able to breathe, so they'll look amazing, too. Plus she's going to get all that street cred."
However, not everybody believes Paris' prison term will be beneficial to her.
Writer David Patrick Columbia - a close friend of the Hilton family - is worried her incarceration will ruin the 26-year-old star's career.
He told Style magazine: "Drunk-driving is a serious crime. People die from it. Jail is a whole other ball game from the soap opera we've enjoyed watching up until now. I think we could be witnessing the end of Paris Hilton."

For heaven's sake:ruin what career ?How can anybody have a career by just acting like a freak .There are no talents involved ,just inherited money .Now if her friends claim she will be looking better by going to jail,perhaps we can extend her stay,good idea,no ?
Well you see, I have no doubts in my mind that you envy the fact that I inherited 15 million pounds and that you also envy the buildings I own in London and elsewhere. But that's ok, people like you, pay to live in my apartment buildings. eh eh eh (!) And people like you buy her products, watch her films. I mean if you talk bad about her its because you have contributed to her weath in a direct manner. Just by talking abut her you're giving her money to earn. Thanks for the job honey!
Besides - Paris will be treated well in jail. Everyone will benefit from treating her well, from the Governor of California to the jail guard. Money buys MOST Things. If you're smart and she is, you'll surf over this. She will come out more mature, more realistic and hopefully leave shit amerika, adopt another nationality, engineer her finances in such a way that she will not have to pay any money to the IRS, etc, etc.

Oh please, it's not like she has a real career to even speak of in the first place. She bops around on television and has other people write books about her life-it'll be more interesting to see if she tries to flee the country in order to avoid jail time in the first place. There are some hilarious bets about this on this website called gottabet.com. At least some people are taking this for what it is-ridiculous.
