Orlando Bloom says playing Will Turner in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films has been his dream role.
The actor - who is currently starring in the third instalment of the hugely popular film series, 'At World's End' - insists nothing is more fun than playing a sea-faring swashbuckling hero.
He said: "It's great fun. I get to run around with a sword, put make-up on and just generally have a laugh. It's every boy's dream."
Bloom recently revealed he has acquired a host of useless skills from his movie career.
The 30-year-old actor claims after starring in numerous adventure films, including 'Troy', 'Kingdom Of Heaven' and the 'Pirates...' trilogy, he can fire a bow and arrow and is an expert swordsman.
He said: "I have these great skills that are useless in everyday life. A bow and arrow? What am I going to do with that in the real world?"
