Eve's not guilty plea

Eve pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) yesterday (22.05.07).
The rapper-and-actress - real name Eve Jeffers - was formally charged with DUI and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher in relation to her arrest last month.
She faces a maximum penalty of a $1,000 fine and six months in jail if found guilty.
Eve did not appear in the Los Angeles court, her attorney entered the plea on her behalf.
A court hearing was set for June 28.
The 28-year-old allegedly crashed her gold Maserati into Hollywood Boulevard's central reservation in the early hours of the morning on April 26.
The 'XXX' star had two passengers in the vehicle at the time.
Eve was visited in jail by Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn, who was seen leaving the police station in a taxi at 4am.
A police source said: "He came to see how Eve was doing."
