Ozzy Osbourne thought horses were talking to him when he took LSD.
The former Black Sabbath rocker, who has battled drug and alcohol addiction for years, used to take so many drugs he began speaking to animals.
Ozzy said in a British magazine interview: "With me, it was the longer the bus journey, the more I could get f***ed up. I would drink until I dropped, do coke, LSD, anything.
"You wouldn't want to imagine me on LSD. There were horses in a field. They were talking to me!
"I knew I was in trouble when I couldn't get offstage quick enough to get whatever variety of s**t I was tipping down me."
Ozzy, now 58, admits his excessive drug usage made him do a number of regrettable things.
The singer - who is married to 'X Factor' judge Sharon Osbourne - explained: "One night in Hamburg, I painted my face purple, and I didn't realise it was indelible. So I had to walk around Hamburg for the next three days with a purple head!"
