Songstress Lily Allen wrote a song about Girls Aloud singer and footballer wife, Cheryl Tweedy. The essence of the song is that Cheryl is 'perfect" and Allen wants to emulate her (not).
The track, called "Cheryl Tweedy" is the B-side to her 2006 UK Number One single "Smile". The song included the lyrics: "I wish I looked like Cheryl Tweedy."
Cheryl fired back by saying, “Because everyone wants to look like her. Chick with a d*ck. She’s either talking sh*t or talking about someone else. A**hole."
NME reports that Lily fought back. Where else, but her MySpace blog. She said:
"I know I've said bad things about people in the past , though the majority of them have been blown wayyyy out of proportion , but this i mean - Cheryl if you're reading this , I may not be as pretty as you but at least I write and SING my own songs without the aid of autotune . I must say taking your clothes off , doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying , your mother must be so proud, stupid b*tch .
