Paris Hilton is too fragile emotionally to withstand a court date right now.
TMZ.com has unearthed paperwork filed by Dr. Charles Sophy, a psychiatrist who has seen Paris "off and on" over the last six months, stating Hilton is "not capable of any meaningful participation" in a civil trial brought against her by diamond heiress Zeta Graff.
Back in 2005, a $10 million lawsuit was filed against Hilton for libel. Graff claims Hilton spread "vicious lies" about her that were published in the New York Post. A July story that ran in Page Six stated that "anonymous sources" say Graff needed to be held back by bouncers she tried to claw Paris' eyes out for showing up with Paris Lastis.
The doctor claims Hilton is "emotionally distraught and traumatized" from the May 4 hearing where she was sentenced to 45 days in jail for breaking probation in her DUI bust, and asked a judge to give her time to recover from that shock.
Says the psychiatrist, Paris "cannot effectively respond to examination as a witness or provide any significant input into her defense."
Dr. Sophy claims that making Paris go to trial May 21 would "exacerbate her current mental condition."
The judge listened, and has postponed the trial date until August 22, reports TMZ.

Paris has the money to hire anything and everyone she needs to get her out of anything her little heart desires, so I guess people should just get used to it and try to ignore her!

Paris Hilton deserves to be locked up in jail by law what she did was wrong what i really hate to see is if she will get away with it that would be so unfair case i mean just because of her statues being a superstar that does not mean she can get away with it and as for the average people out there who has suffered the same consequences and yet has to locked up in jail that would be really sad and unfair and yet they are no differences with Paris at all. Paris has tons of millions on her account so therefore she has more powerful to get away with things like that very easily and i really hate to see that happen and if she does get away with the consequences, it would definitely be considered as corruption and discrimination compare to those other fellows who now or going to faced jail at the same exact reason as Paris. Wake up Paris it is time for you to learn your mistakes and suffer the consequences....
