Lindsay Lohan was "terrified" of playing an overtly "sexual" female in her new film.
The 20-year-old star - who has been romantically linked to a series of famous men and sent a text message to a male friend from rehab saying she was "craving sex" - struggled to play Rachel, a disturbed young girl who tries to seduce her stepfather, in 'Georgia Rule'.
Lindsay said: "I was really nervous when I had the scene where I had to be sexual and provocative. I was terrified.
"I cried so much when we wrapped. I haven't been able to go where Rachel goes in a movie."
The actress' character is sexually abused in the movie, and her co-star Jane Fonda - who works to prevent teenage pregnancy in Georgia - found it hard to watch.
Jane said: "I get so emotional when I see this movie, because I work with girls who have been abused. And I know how the abuse makes them act out."

Lohan has morals? Imagine that!
she should be good at it .
after all all women are pigs
I'm tired of movies like this as entertainment. I know these things happen and happen a lot, but do we have to be bombarded with it in a movie? As for Lindsey - what a joke!!
Linsday, don't do these movie roles if they make you feel uncomfortable. Every actor reads a script they like or don't like, and regardless of what your agent advises, it's your name that goes on the dotted line. Every one has a choice. It seems to me that you seem to be struggling between what real Hollywood is like and what you expected Hollywwod was supposed to be. Sweetie, you work in a tough business where everyone throws temptation at you, you have to be tough and learn to know the difference.
Some roles require you to challenge yourself, but regardless of all the money and production at stake, if you'e uncomfortable with the project, simply don't do it.

It's not like playing a slut on film would be acting for her...

Get over it, people act on characters they don't want to all the time. XP
