Free Paris petitions up against Jail Paris camp

Paris Hilton EPA/JOSHUA GATES WEISBERG
Some people have way too much time on their hands. The heiress with the least amount of discernible skills, Paris Hilton, has inspired a warring group of people either for her or against her, and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is a busy, busy guy, has been dragged into the nonsensical mess.
There is the fed up camp, people who are over the notorious underwear adverse aging party girl, Paris Hilton, and who want her to do real jail time for probation violations over her DUI suspended license. Then there are the others, who ware circulating "free Paris" petitions to proffer to the Guv'nah for his signature and absolution.
The 26-year-old was sentenced to 45 days in county jail for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related driving case.
Paris' date with the grey bar hotel in charming Lynwood is June 5.
Hilton's big guns legal team are appealling the decision.
Fans of Hilton launched an online petition asking Schwarzenegger to pardon the heiress, who they said "provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives".
The Anti-Paris petition, which at recent reports claims over 33,000 signatures, is a laundry list of Paris' un-greatest hits, misses and alleged deeds against humanity.
"For as long as she has been in the public spotlight, Paris Hilton has knowingly and willingly broken the law, and her actions have gotten more and more brazen over the last few years," the petition reads, reports TMZ.com.
"Her actions indicate that she feels the law doesn't apply to her, as she has repeatedly flaunted the law in full view of witnesses, often paparazzi and camera crews.
"This petition asks Governor Schwarzenegger to ignore other petitions asking for clemency and show the people of California that no one is above the law.".
TMZ reports that Hilton issued a statement through her lawyer, saying she understands the seriousness of driving under the influence and that she is not "above the law".
"I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation," Hilton said in a statement released today by her new attorney, Richard Hutton, a specialist in driving under the influence cases.
"I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse."
Hilton said she released the statement because "I feel the need to correct what I believe are misperceptions about me".
"I absolutely realize how serious driving under the influence is," she said.
"I could not live with myself if anyone was injured or killed while I was driving while impaired. Clearly, no one should - no matter how slightly."

Send the little skank to jail, she needs some time behind bars.
Plus, we won't have to see her face or hear her name for 45 glorious days!
She has to pay the piper for this dance. She won't be treated any worse than any other irresponsible driver. Arnold's not gonna let her skate.
Where is the anti-petition with 30k signatures? I wanted to add mine.
This cr** isn't even worth commenting on, and you can bet news of her isn't going to go away soon as long as the public waits with baited breath to hear the latest!!

Seeing her imprisoned may provide a touch of beauty and excitement to parts of my life that might be considered “otherwise mundane'.
Well, maybe she wanted to be in the news again. It worked! Gotta keep people talkin'. They should protect her from the prison butches though. Maybe Vanity Fair will do a 'Paris In Jail' edition. Jail is a clever way to make headlines.
Here Paris is saying I know I broke the Law, I dont want to be treated unfairly.Go to jail girl thats what happens when you break the law, now if you were Illegal you wouldnt have to WORRY ABOUT IT.
J, YOU TELL IT LIKE IT IS.RIGHT ON BROTHER or SISTER.
Lock the little ho up!
Paris, 'that's hot'......you going to jail. Do a little of 'Jailhouse Rock' in there will ya.
To feel the full effect of jail, please drop soap.
Put the winch where she belongs, the slammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Send her Skinny little but to jail and see how the other half lives
Set her free, its only natural to break the rules. She is such a nice person. Everybody needs to step back and let go of the hate in their heart. Let god deal with her in the end. God Bless You All.
I loved her in video, doggie
I SAY SHE NEEDS TO GO..... WHAT THE HELL THE GIRL IS NUTS ANYWAY!!!!!
The saddest part of all this is that she's merely a product of her upbringing. Rich, vacuous bimbo (pardon me, I mean't Princess) pleading because she actually believes the law as it applies to everyone else is too strong a medicine for her. Her mother's actions and words during the trial and to the press afterward show that Paris was raised on that belief system.
Standing as proof that she still doesn't 'get it' is the statement released about her understanding the seriousness of DUI. Um, Paris dear....the 45 days wasn't for the DUI offense. It's for your flaunting disregard of the probation you were put on because of it.
Jail time is a much needed reality check here, and while she's inside someone needs to slap the mother around a little bit. She hasn't got a clue either.
now they say her sentence might be cut in half.
then cut again .then no sentence at all ..
how sweet can this be ?? poor little rich bitch
You say let God deal with it. Well God uses the authorities here on earth to deal with situations.
Send that hoe to jail!
send her to the electric chair along with 99% of hollywood
Consumer whores.
If she's 'ready to face the consequences' of violating her probation, then she needs to just suck it up and do her 45 days
Paris is not smart enough to have made these statements it was obviously her scumbag lawyer saying these things. Paris probly doesn't even knoww whats going on all she sees and hears Im on tv 'thats hot'.
Paris the spoiled brat needs to pay the consequences of her acts. Enough is enough. Why these people should get a break when John Q Public gets none? The law is the same for everyone! No celebrity should go unpunished when (s)he breaks the law.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!
Paris is obviously very sorry and upset over this whole incident. Paris is our own American princes and putting her in jail would be like if they put Princess Di in jail!
Please, everyone, go sign the FREE PARIS PETITION ASAP!
She needs to go to jail and learn her lesson!
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!
One word SKANK!
People!!
Paris was given an unfair sentence.
My husband, a police officer, would like the public to be aware of the MASSIVE number of people driving on revoked licenses! Paris' punishment for DUI was to revoke her license. She was caught driving with a revoked license. Does everyone know how many times a day on a police officer's shift a person is stopped drivig without a license?? Do you know how few of these people are put in jail for driving with a revoked license?? The question to ask yourselves is....Are you wanting her to stay in jail because of who she is, and how she has previously portrayed herself in the public or do you think that if it were you trying to drive on a revoked license, that 45 days in a county jail is a fair punishment for that? I live in the state of North Carolina, and every day my husband issues citations...for people driving with revoked licenses. If she was caught doing another DUI...that would be a different story....then YES she should be punished....maybe b speaking with families that lost loved ones to a Driver U.I. ...Make the punishment fit the crime....especially when thousands of illegal immigrants are currently driving without licenses. Someone just yesterday killed someone on a highway here after D.U.I. and YES, that person is and should be in jail.
How about BRANDY....who's careless driving caused her to KILL a person.....is she in jail....NO...how is Paris' sentence fair.
The judge did not base his ruling on a high number of prior cases similar getting the same sentence....because there are probably millions of illegal immigrants driving without licenses in Southern California alone. So get busy So Cal Police, because it looks like the judge wants to overcrowd our jails with every single person who drives without a license and gets caught more than once. There are some people that I've heard about that kill someone while DUI who have numerous citations for driving without a license. Think about it.

Paris should not be shaved when she reports. That may excite the dykes in there.
