I just don't understand the English and their distain towards the royal family. I hear the comments from the scandals of the royal family to why the English needs to fund them. I guess the 'Brits' have forgotten their roots. The American people highly respect the royal family because of what they stand for- Tradition, Conservative Values, Honor, Loyalty, and Valor. I just hope the English don't compare how they preceive us with our relationship with our president to how they treat the royal family. The difference is that its the mainstream media and liberals organization that is making that appearance to world that our president is bad, but that thought is not shared by every American.
I will always love the royal family. They will always represent England. To remove them or dissolve its union is like changing the symbol of Coke or Pepsi to something else. You just can do that. To lose a well known icon is the same as losing one self-identity.
God Bless the Queen! we mean it, man!
Now, now, just like you don't like being lumped together as one neither do we. British people don't ALL dislike the monarchy a huge percentage love royalty. We are a very proud people who value our heritage and history and once 'God Save the Queen' starts playing we all get up and start singing. We may complain about the cost of things occaisionally but the value of the monarchy far outweighs the cost. The income they bring in with tourism is in the billions! The newspapers may rip them apart but then so do the newspapers here in the US!
Every time I visit the UK with an American friend the first thing I do is take them to London and do the tour of all things Royal.
God save the Queen!!!
...and yell, 'Queen, Princess and Prince! Guess what comes walking up?'
Please do the right thing in a fragmenting world you the USA the one of the eldest children of the mother country (seems your mother country will be Mexico and Spain soon)you have come of age you now lead an empire greater than the British or the Roman. You have grown up, time to come home, back into the embrace of the monarchy, within the commonwealth you must now take the principles that have held our two nations justice and democracy to all the world of the old Empire and the new members hat will come, will you be sidelined by the emerging new powers EU, Russia, china and India you must become the glue and will to forge the commonwealths future. The USA must wield and guide the spiritual, moral, and world respect that gives authority to the monarchy.
Can the USA make the sacrifice, you must feel in your hearts the belonging and joy of monarchy and remove the fear that your forefathers exploited the lies about repression of the 13 colony's, let the truth be know but lets move forward.
The revolution was grand principles that hid greedy intentions, there was no justifiable reason for revolution apart for freeing the landed gentry from laws forbidding the destruction of the rights of the aboriginal peoples. unfettered the desire for land and wealth and the right to exploit the resources of the American continent in the name of the people, fortunately they were denied what was to become Canada so showing you all the stability that you would have been afforded if you had remained in the empire.
In two great wars we have fought side by side, in minor conflicts we have fought side by side and side by side we are a force for good.
We need you people of America to lead us. Let the presidents of the USA wield the power of the crown without being it.
