Are you serious? She is really blaming someone else for her stupidity? When will she be expected to act like an adult and quit blaming other people. I am only sorry that her sentence is not longer. And why do any of us care about this spoiler little rich brat. She has done nothing to contribute to society, at all. Nothing. The only thing that she has done is to prove that you don't have to be poor to be born poor white trash.

Thats good for that stupid bitch. If I was a weak 150 lbs girly man, they wouldn't add extra security for me. Throw that dumb bitch in the clink and let them have their way with her.

So paris is going to live the simple life, sounds like shes suited for it, (simple minded) as to the law applying to everyone, thats a fiction, hasnt the vice president gotten away with treason in the plame case, as well as scanctions busting at halliburton when doing business with iran, republicans dont have to obey the law, and they don't

True, Paris Hilton is annoying, but I think she got the 45 days just because she is a celebrity. Other famous people have managed to elude such consequences. Anyway, I'm sure her lawyer will be successful in having the jail sentence reduced if not eliminated. I don't have a problem with that. Isn't that what good lawyers are for, anyway? And with her money, she can afford the best. But, if she does go to jail for a short period of time, I hope she can make the most out of it, and come out a better person. I don't think she'll make this mistake a second time.

I am more ashamed of our society for wasting so much time commenting on a simple legal matter. We should not be so concerned about Paris' crime and punishment. It is no secret that the privileged get special treatment, this is not her fault. Nor does it give others a right to hate her; only in America do we waste so much time and energy complaining among ourselves and not work to build accountability into the system.
I love you Paris, I just hate your ways and how society portrays you!

She should have talked to her lawyer to find out if and when she could drive. Not her publicist. Why is it that people with money always want to say that someone else is to blame instead of themselves? Hopefully she will learn a lesson, but I'm afraid she is one of those people that will do something like this again.

How can you have a nation run by law when the rich feel they are above it.

Paris is a spoiled brat that does what she wants, when she wants. She could have hired a driver, but she didn't.
Considerng she would listen to a public relations person vs checking with any one of the army of lawyers she has at her disposal is just beyond belief.

I am sure her family did not earn there fortune worming out of their responcipilitys.

Give it up Paris, you did the crime do the time! Maybe you will learn something.

Since Ms. Hilton is so pampered that she can tell a judge that she doesn't have to bother to open her own mail ('I have people do that for me'), and that she relies upon her publicist to think for her (suspended license = driving for work is okay, hmmm...), why the heck didn't she just hire a driver like so many other rich people? But then again I've always wondered that about celebrities. They have servants for every other little insignificant thing; why don't they just hire someone to drive for them so that when they want to get blotto they don't put the rest of us (the unwashed masses) in danger of being killed? Jeez, the rest of us peons actually have to have a designated driver, or take a cab home. Can anyone really be so stupid that they can't figure that one out? Nevermind... I think that I've just answered my own question.

she was in Europe did you not print that she said she cannot drive because her license was revoked, now she did not know bull, just like she did not know her passport was expired and you cannot travel on an expired one. How DUMB can you be, for someone who travels as much as you do. She knew exactly what she was doing, like everything else she just thumb her noses at the system, then cry foul, she deserves every bit. Why should this raise her celeb is she one? Please stop writing junk. you people are the ones who keeps her in the light. there are others much, much more talented and deserving. Please STOP>

I sure will feel safer with Paris behind bars. Not. This is so stupid. There are people on the road with several DUI convictions, and some of these drivers killed others. Wouldn't it be better to put her on house arrest and charge a huge fine?

If you have nothing good to say, please don't say anything at all. She is an upstanding citizen. Stop spreading hatefull thoughts. Human is all she is, she made a mistake. Let her say she is sorry and leave it at that. She should be exempt from jail, she pays more tax then all of you. Therefore she is carrying a much larger fee for just being wealthy. Let the love in your heart spill unto others. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. PLEASE STOP HATING YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS OF THE WORLD.'
*********************************************************************** ****

Good god where do I start with this...first of all, if you're looking for kind thoughts and wishes and good words for Paris, you're probably in the wrong place; secondly, she made a mistake for sure, saying 'i'm sorry' isn't going to cut it...if, in fact, she pays more taxes 'then' (duh, your word, not mine) all of the rest of us, it doesn't excuse the fact that she's a self-absorbed, lying little wench...who is possibly illiterate.
Lastly, I for one don't have my fellow citizens of the world but I for sure think you're an idiot.

With all the people sneaking into the U.S. from Mexico, Paris should be the last thing on the news. Mr. Bush needs to secure our borders. All those people are driving with no license at all let alone a suspended license. At least she has insurance and a registered car. She she be given a medal and a cash reward.

Hey Paris, don't worry, the time will go by quickly. You'll be very busy chatting with all your new friends. Maybe Brit and KFed and Justin and all the rest of your vacuous friends will pop over for a visit. This could be the theme for your next TV show. You were great in that movie I saw on the internet. Taking it Bow Wow style, while you squirmed around to keep your face positioned for the camera. You won't have to worry about makeup, when it's time for your 'closeup'. You'll be trying on some new makeup, when you're 'tossin your roomie's salad'. Miss you already!!!!! Byeeeeeeeeeee!
