All you people have way to much hate in your hearts. You all need to find god and welcome him into your life.

If Paris Hilton is happy with all the perks she gets, she should be quite when she has to pay the price.
If she is too foolish or dumb to read something before she reads it, perhaps she should smarten up and hire a driver.

It's for her own good. Hopefully this humbling experience will open her eyes to reality.

While I'm not thrilled by the thought of my tax dollars paying for Paris's time in jail, I think it's great that she got the book thrown at her. It's only too bad that she'll get special treatment as a high profile celebrity - I say toss her right in to the general population. That little snot nose could use the wake up call that I'm sure she'd get if she were mixed up with all the other criminals!

Paris---What an example of a woman. She has all sorts of ideas that she is the Queen of all. Whereas she is just Stupid. And very far out on a line if she thinks she is pretty. You Paris are just a joke. If i was the judge you would have been sent to jail for two or more years. You just can't take the truth and do what is normal and not that you are above all.

The crowd speaks...May 7th, 2007 - 16:11:25

But in her defense, maybe the reason she DRIVES so poorly is that she can not read or think on her own. Basically she is just riding in a car steered by some remote publicist and they haven't worked out that virtual reality technology yet.

That said, I read these comments on this article and it amazes me that the very people who made and make Paris Hilton what she is, air-headed, utterly useless and yet constantly in the news, are those who love to vilify her now. That doesn't make me feel bad for her or encourage me to change my opinion that she should serve the whole sentence (I know someone who was hit by a car driven by a party person just like this and had his back broken). But it does make me feel dirty that I am joining the braying crowd.

I can't believe she has the nerve to blame someone else. She's not a child. She needs to grow up and take responsibility for her own actions. Honestly, I think her parents should take away her 'hilton' money for a year and force her to make it on her own without the silver spoon. Might build some character that is obviously sorely lacking. She really bugs me. :D

she's not being singled out. she keeps breaking the law and snubbing her nose at the authorities. she'll probably be even more popular and make even more money when she gets out. grow up, paris.

Are we (the average folk) really expected to accept these lame excuses like 'I didn't understand' 'It's not my fault' 'He said I could...' the I'm to rich to be treated like this BS. GIVE ME A BREAK - PLEASE.

If you have nothing good to say, please don't say anything at all. She is an upstanding citizen. Stop spreading hatefull thoughts. Human is all she is, she made a mistake. Let her say she is sorry and leave it at that. She should be exempt from jail, she pays more tax then all of you. Therefore she is carrying a much larger fee for just being wealthy. Let the love in your heart spill unto others. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. PLEASE STOP HATING YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS OF THE WORLD.

Big hint Paris
when you need legal advice ask a lawyer. or better yet use some common sense.

I think it is sad... Yes she did a crime and must be punished. Yes she needs to serve her time, but too many people are taking great pleasure in her sorrow.

I hope Paris comes away a little wiser and a better person from the experience. I also hope those those taking pleasure from her unfortunate situation, can learn to forgive Paris and themselves.

She could have killed or hurt someone driving drunk. Plain and simple. Why doesn't one of her 'people' drive her when she decides to go out and get hammered?

What about those who don't have publicists to explain the conditions of their probation to them? Who do they blame? It is amazing how some people think blaming someone else absolves them of having to take responsibility for their own actions.
