While she absolutely deserves the sentence given, it is also appropriate that she be put into a custody setup that protects her. She will be targeted otherwise, no question about it. Unprotected she will be gang-raped, abused, beaten up and possibly killed. She is a dumbass rich kid with too big a mouth that will, if it has not already, gotten her on the list of inmates targets. Furthermore, if she is NOT put in a protective situation, once something happens the City of LA will be liable for her injuries and will be sued, and will probably lose. It is no different a situation than a rapist, child murderer or similar ilk being segregated for their own protection, AND since this is a temporary confinement it is more incumbent upon the authorities to insure she is not abused/targeted/injured in their custody. Beyond that, she should experience EXACTLY the same food, clothes, washing, sleeping and other conditions as other inmates. This child and her family need a lesson in humility, humanity and reality. They may have money but that doesnt make them any better than the rest of us.

I think people are confused about why Paris Hilton is going to jail.
Paris was given the 45 day sentence for 'Probation Violation' not 'Driving on a Suspended License'.She was arrested for the suspended license charge and therefore violated her probation...

Paris Hilton finally admits her affair with the renown Dr. Chris Mentillo. I think more like an Internet fling or something. I'm sure Dr. Chris Mentillo will try to help Paris Hilton escape from jail, that is if he doesn't kill someone before then. He really has gone very Mad! Sorry about Paris Dr. Chris....
