its about time paris hilton took the blame for her own actions. but shes not and thats why 45 days in the los angeles county jail is just what she needs'i just sign things shes full of it. she sined court papers in court in january telling her not to drive. shes got money why didnt she hire a lemo. because she said im paris hilton and i can do what ever i want, no, no she cant. her mom said this is a waste of tax payers money how rediculas is that.thank god that know one got hurt or killed then she realy have trouble.and what about the innocent familys. would that be a waste of tax payers money if she hurt someone or god forbid kill someone or herself.if this girl does not get the just of her actions now she never will. and then to show up to court late wow what a mistake that was. but then again im paris and ill do what i want. at the very least stand up to the plate and say im sorry i did it and im sorry. dont blame others. dont appeal go to jail and do your 45 days people would have alot more sympathy and respect for her. and she would have respect for herself.

She should take the bus like every other guy who can't drive. Or she could stay home since she doesn't even work for a living.

PARIS HILTONS JAIL TERM:

a.) BUY HER A DICTIONARY AND THEN WHILE SHE IS IN JAIL SHE CAN WRITE
THE DEFINITION OF WHAT THE WORD SUSPENDED MEANS, WHAT THE WORD DRUNK
MEANS. THEN GIVE HER A DRIVERS MANUAL AND MAKER HER REREAD IT EVERY
DAY FOR THE 45 DAYS FROM FRONT TO BACK, AND THEN MAYBE SHE JUST MIGHT
GET IT.

B.) HER MOTHER BELONGS IN JAIL FOR CONTEMPT OF COURT SO, MAYBE, SHE
SHOULD GO WITH HER AND HOLD HER HAND, WIPE HER TEARS, FEED HER HER
FOOD AND ANYTHING ELSE THE SPOIL BRAT NEEDS PEOPLE TO WAIT HAND AND
ON HER.

C. WHEN THE BRAT GETS OUT HAVE HER DO COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR THE NEXT 4
MONTHS IN A HOSPITAL WHERE DOCTORS ARE WORKING HARD TO SAVE CHILDREN
STRICKEN WITH CANCER...LET HER GO INTO HOME WIHERE THE ELDERLY LIVE
AND SHE SHOULD WAIT HAND AND FOOT ON THESE PEOPLE.

D. MS HILTON REALLY NEEDS A REALITY CHECK OF LIFE BUT SHE HAS NO BRAINS
SO, YOU CANNOT EXPECT MUCH ALL RICH AND FAMOUS PEOPLE BELIEVE THEY
ARE ABOVE THE LAW...HURRAY FOR THE JAIL WHO IS SENDING THE BRAT TO
JAIL..SHE MAY HAVE THE MONEY TO BLOW AND NOT HAVE TO WORK AT A REAL
JOB, AND HEY THAT IS A GOOD ONE, HAVE PARIS HILTON GO WORK FOR
$7.50 A HOUR AND SEE IF THE SPOIL BRAT CAN HANDLE HER RICH AND FAMOUS
LIFE STYLE ON THAT CAN OF MONEY....JAIL BIRD HER SHE GOES.

Taking legal advise from a PUBLICIST? Good thing stupidity is not a crime or she would have received another 45 days.

Paris deserves to go to jail and if her parents are allowed to get her off because of the billions of dollars they have then our justice system is in severe trouble... It still remains to be seen if she goes to jail, which i highly doubt! But hope she does, it would be good for her to see a side of life that she probably hasn't ever heard about.

#1 Bentley
#2 DUI
#3 Signing without reading
#4 Doing only what people tell you to do
#5 Driving without headlights
#6 Driving with a suspended license
#7 Stupidity.. refer back to #2-#6

What does that equal???

A realization that you are not above anybody... not even the law, and you get to spend 45 days in jail. She might even see Martha Stewart there and get a lesson on fashion and how to clean.

I would like to poll the audience and see how many think she will actually go to jail, and if so will she go to a country club and for what length of time?

I have a friend who went to jail for a DUI, and for that offense alone. Probation for the first offense is not unheard of. However, violating that probation should have consequences. Blaming someone else on your own negligence just doesn't cut it in court.

Her publicist told she could drive for work related things! She was given probation the first time. Now lets see (1)suspended license, (hopefully she was in court the first time around) when they suspended her license and she heard the verdict, but she had to ask her publicist if it was alright to drive, (2)driving at night (work related-SURE!!!), (3)no headlights on (at night-this one takes brains to figure out), So for being 'stupid' and disobeying a court judgement to her this is unfair and cruel. How dumb is this blond? If it were myself the second time I would probably get to tell everybody about it after my SIX MONTHS in jail. Shut-Up and do your time.

Sure thing...anyone want to make bets on how long she actually stays in? My guess is four hours.

Even if she does stay the full time (scoff), she gets her own little area. How precious, even in jail she gets special treatment.

What kind of a pathetic excuse is 'I don't read my own mail,' anyway? If your license is suspended, that means YOU DON'T DRIVE. And don't give us that 'it was work related' crap, everyone knows she doesn't work.

The real crime here is that if I did the same thing I'd probably a. lose my license and b. be locked up a heck of a lot longer than 45 days. Not to mention the money I'd lose in fines, court costs, hiked insurance rates, etc. Cry me a friggin' river.

With Paris Hilton reportedly blaming Elliot Mintz in open court for her failure to understand the finer implications of a suspended license, it was unsurprising that the trusty PR manservant would be swiftly dispensed with. The flack's shitcanning instantly elicited a conundrum: Who issues the P.R. statements for disgraced P.R.-statement-issuers? (That would be Mintz himself, who holds no ill will towards Paris, her family, or anyone else associated with those backstabbing motherf*ckers.) As for Paris herself--the wonky eye at the center of this particular celebrity shitstorm--well, she feels it's just not fair...!?!

believe me ... dmv states driving is a privilege not a right! the law is the law and this is how it works out with a DUI conviction...i received a dui a few years ago and was astonished about how crazy the laws were but I still abided by them until the ish was over.

justice is BLIND most of the time. Thank God! because I would have been pissed if she could have just bought her way out of it. She's just embarrassed...suck it up, serve your sentence and go on with your fairy tale life.

Being filthy rich is not an excuse. The sentence is standard, and can only be construed as 'cruel and inhuman' by someone not mature or responsible enough to have a driver's license. Apparently, in Ms. Hilton's case, she still needs to do a LOT of growing up. I feel sorry for her publicist who had to take the fall for this spoiled brat.
