Bjork says music is like math.
The 'Venus as a Boy' singer considers music to be a science, not an art form.
She said: "Music for me is like fact. Totally like algebra.
"For me, it not about humans. In a weird way it's about math and physics."
The Icelandic singer also revealed she sees directions in her head when she is performing.
She explained: "Say for example, the corner, where the roads meet. Oone building is so tall and then this road goes at that angle, then this building is shaped like that, and it sort of directs the characters.
"And so when you hear that in a song it either opens up or it goes really narrow. Do you know what I mean?"
