Paris Hilton gets 45 days in the hole
By Stone Martindale May 5, 2007, 1:57 GMT

Paris Hilton (R) exits the Los Angeles Municipal Metropolitan Branch Courthouse with her mother Kathy (L) in Los Angeles, California on 4 May 2007. Paris Hilton was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer to 45 days in county jail for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case by driving without a valid license and has until 5 June 2007 to turn herself in to authorities. Now she has something in common with her pal Joe Francis, Miz Paris will be spending 45 days with 2200 female felons at Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF) reports TMZ.com.
CRDF is located in Lynwood,Calif. - TMZ helpfully notes it is Compton adjacent, how hot is that. Not.
Paris will most likely be segregated from the rest of her prison peers and live in a semi private cell claims TMZ.
Paris will get just one hour a day to shower, exercise, watch TV or talk on the phone. No cell phones PDA's, Jack Daniels, Absolut Vodka, Champagne, small animals or lip gloss allowed.
TMZ notes the fashion array that Paris is given a selection of depends on where she is housed in the facility, Paris could don a blue, brown, white or classic orange one-piece.
D-Day is June 5th, and even though Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, it doesn't mean she'll do the time. Because of overcrowding and other issues, L.A. inmates often are released earlier.
Case in point: Michelle "I'm not a lesbian" Rodriguez.
TV actress Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in the same facility in which Paris is scheduled to do time for the very same offense, a probation violation over a DUI conviction reports TMZ.
Rodriguez served two hours before jail officials let her go.

Instead of jail time, let people arrested for dui have their driver's license taken away for 6 months or more, although in her case, she'd just hire a driver.
Somehow, in a world where problems are difficult to resolve, this one serves as a relief. Paris needs a humility lesson, and if this does not help, you can be sure that the next judge who sees her as a defendant will try to outdo this one.
She should have some followup after release, in terms of a couple of programs where she gets to share the room with others who'd not be awed by her presence. Perhaps a decorator ankle bracelet; or just stick an RFID chip in her arm, and give the paparrazzi chip readers.
Time for Paris to grow up - extended adolescence is getting tiresome. Lindsay, are you listening?
Paris had better serve her time or I'm going to be pissed. She blatantly broke the law and should pay like everyone else. It won't be HOT from her perspective, but maybe it will be a wakeup call, and she can finally find something worthwhile to do with herself. Getting a driver would be the first thing she can do to save lives, because if she continues to driver herself around, she is a threat to others.
Well, it was only a matter of time until this moment came aournd to her. She just needs to do it, learn her lesson and be done with it. Then, hopefully, she will turn over a new leaf.
its about time the law looks down at certain people.
it seems to me if you are rich and famous, you can get away with anything these days.
thank god i live in europe where the law applies to all.
from what i see money talks and bullshit walks.

We would like to hire Paris as our spokes person. Hamas likes her style.
Paris doesn't seem to acknowledge that she has problems. What she didn't know is that there was going to come a time where even mommy and daddy couldn't buy her out of something.Should be interesting if she even serves the entire sentence.I felt that considering the charges and her blatant disrespect of the law,she got what she deserves. As a driver she is a threat to others and I am glad that it has finally being addressed!

paris hilton queire sangre!
Luckily for us, Bush was not after her, or she'd get away with it.
Her lawyer stated that she got the sentence because of who she is, but why should she get off because of who she is???
porsolainheart.........try clicking the submit button only once.i wish paris all the best, and i hope that the hoodlums in the prison don't give her a hard time.it's not like she murdered someone, she drove her car with a suspended liscense, grow up haters!!
RE$: it's not like she murdered someone, she drove her car with a suspended liscense

The sentence she got was based on that, and coming to court late did not help at all. If her parents' money could not buy her way out, she no doubt deserved it. If Martha Stewart could do it, Paris (rhymes with embarrass) can do it.
If the county would install a cell-cam, and set up a paid site to watch, they could pay off the costs of the prison system. Wait 'til the inevitable candid pictures show up on the Web.
Oh no! Now she may not be allowed to travel to Australia. I'm so glad the judge didn't buy her line of crap.
Shelly, it's unrealistic to think that taking away thier license would solve the problem. Do you know how many people drive without a license every day? Jail time is the only thing that will keep them off the road except for home confinement.
'Ahh, I let everyone do everything for me!' Now look. Stupid bia hasn't she ever heard you don't sign any thing without reading it first. Thats what she gets and whoever said her license should get suspended for 6 months your right she'll just hire someone to drive he around. But hey at least it would inconvience her a bit, she couldn't be skanking it w/ someone tagging along to drive her around. Well I guess she don't care she performed for the world naked i'm sure she'll get off without serving the 45 days in. Could you imagine, what if little miss priss who dose no wrong gets her a** kicked in jail. I know if I was Shana Mockler (Barker), I would have done a better job!!!!!
