Mark Burnett and Roma Downey marry in Malibu

Reality King Mark Burnett, who has produced "Survivor" and "The Apprentice" and Irish born actress Roma Downey of "Touched by an Angel" were joined in matrimony by actress and ordained minister Della Reese, Downey's co-star in a private ceremony, reports People. "It was so meaningful and so intimate."The nuptials were conducted at their home overlooking a bluff on the Pacific Ocean. People reported that towards the end, a small plane that Downey had hired as a surprise for Burnett flew overhead with a banner that read, "... and they lived happily ever after."Burnett's sons from a previous marriage acted as best man and ring bearer, and Downey's daughter from a previous marriage was a bridesmaid.Also attending were Burnett's father, Archie, 83, dressed in a traditional kilt, and Burnett's stepmother, Jean; Della Reese and her husband, Franklin, stood in for Downey's parents, both of whom have passed away according to People.The couple were neighbors in Malibu for years. The newlyweds are said to be honeymooning in Jordan and London.
