Alec Baldwin plans book on injustices to divorced dads

Although it is hard for most normal people to understand, there are a lot of women who use children as their personal property. There are lots of very caring,loving fathers who sacrifice everything for their children. Yet when it comes to 'being a part of their child's life', which most notable therapists and mental health professionals claim is the best thing for the child, some women use them as pawns in a game to get what they want with no regard on how their selfish actions harm the child. My granddaughter has been physically, and emotionally abused for over 8 years, (she will be 10 this August) yet when it became really bad and we complained to social services or the courts, nothing was ever done. When my son filed a complaint to the court because his ex was hitting his daughter with a coat hanger, and then putting ice on the injury and making the child 'pinky promise' not to tell anyone, social services could not 'substainiate' the complaint, because the children had been threatened by the mother that if they said anything to social services, that the police would come and take her away and they would never see her again. This is emotional blackmail. However, it appears that the children are not who the courts are concerned about. It is a matter of not taking time to hear what is being said and then deciding what is in the best interest of the child....not just following outdated protocol. The courts are in essence enabling these disturbed heartless women with no thought of how the child will end up. My son's ex is an obsessive alienator. What she is doing should be illegal, however, it is not. Don't make judgments unless you have walked a mile in someone's shoes. To those alienating mothers, you are hurting your children as much or more than you are 'winning'.

As a divorced dad and also a victim of parental alienation Alec has my 100% support on any book exposing this insidious crime commited by costodial parent's. Usually vindictive ex-wives. In the final analisis, it is the children who are the real victims of this form of child abuse.
As far as Mr. Baldwin's expolsion of temper against his daughter. I am sure that it was a result of the frustration of being alienated. Been there and done that! The man should not be chastised for loosing his temper.
