Sheryl Crow and partner had every right to raise the subject of global warming and Rove responded in typical republican fashion-How dare anybody question his authority.
Amazing the amount of sexist retorts to this article. Am I to believe that the constitution does not also grant women the same rights as men? Or should we go back to the stone age ways of thinking and chain all women to stoves? I think men sometimes forget that without a woman to birth them, to nurture them in the womb for nine months and to CHOOSE to bring them into the world they would not even be alive. It is time that women be aloud to take their rightful place in this country, a place that is equal to that of a man. Seperate but equal is not equality (yes, racism and sexism are both equally bad, both forms of hate) and if you don't like that little nugget of supreme court opinion then maybe you should move elsewhere.
In other words, if Al Gore had said it no one would be making sexist comments, eh?
Karl Rove and Sheryl Crowe both feel powerless in their personal agendas, this is why they argue. It is also apparent that many people that have added remarks also feel powerless because most people attacked other people rather than the real issue of Global Warming. Anger is only the mask of fear!
It doesn't matter what country, race or religon a person represents! People are concerned all over the world about changes that are taking place on every level of our world society.
We have recorded in America in the last 20 years some of the largest numbers of people being diagnosed with cancer, heart desiese, asthema and high blood pressure. We just had an incident where pet food was found to be deadly for some pets. Student kills 32 fellow students and teacher before he takes his own life! Is this a connection with Global Warming?
We must remember as people from all over the world that appointed officials do not run a nation. The people run the nation! We as individuals are so much more powerful if we followed the heart rather than the crowd.
For those out there concerned about Global Warming. Do what you can afford to
do. Changing to enrgy efficient light bulbs or using paper verses plastic for purchases and trash desposal is inexpensive but very beneficial to the envirnment. For the people that don't know what to do. Don't Worry! Your answers are coming.
To argue with people is a great waste of time and energy! Take back your power by taking action to do what you can.
I don't know about the rest of you but in the 70's when I went to school all the science said we were headed for an ice age. Seems to me that if THE SCIENCE could be so wrong then it might just be wrong now. Also Crow is as American as apple pie and if she was Canadian just consider our gift to you like Micheal J Fox, Celine Dion, and Pamala Anderson.

CO2 is not even significant as a greenhouse gas on earth. Mars, sure. But on earth water vapor makes up over 95% of all the greenhouse gasses. Even comparing the various gasses' heat retention properties, CO2 falls FAR below water vapor and methane (CH4), and many others. We could quadruple the CO2 in the atmosphere and the earth's temperature wouldn't be altered at all. No one with a science background can possibly believe the global warming hoax. The only quacks peddling it who have science degrees are frauds playing along with the scam for money and cowards afraid of losing positions in leftist academia if they speak up. The rest of the global warming promoters are just idiots who slept through science class in grade school and socialists (also idiots who slept through history and math class) who parrot the hoax because it suits their agenda of stamping out rights of free people.
Is the earth warming? Possibly. It's not possible to answer without a time scale. The earth moves further from the sun between january and july andcloser to the sun between july and january, so at the moment the earth is certainly cooling. There are also the effects of quite variable 11 year solar cycles. And the effects of vulcanism, dust, even eclipses to a very tiny degree! This has been the case for several billion years and will be the case for billions more. Human activity is not part of the equation and may never be. We do not have nearly the technology to affect the global climate.
