Spotted Owl SoupeApr 24th, 2007 - 22:53:15

Don't you believe that naughty Japanese girl! What could she possibly know of the color of love that is in the air? Here in France, the air is positively lavender. I don't know if I would say purple exactly but probably down in Spain it is more purple. Oh, if only Carl was here with me again... Oh, I did promise I wouldn't tell of our time together but France just makes me roll over...

Karl Rove doesn't believe in anything that is remotely scientific. Rove's small brain and single digit IQ is too primeval to understand the scientific issues/answers surrounding global warming. What Karl does not understand he ignores. Almost all of the current administration's significant errors in judgement from Abramhoff to CIA Leaks to weapons of mass destruction to Gonzales firings can be traced back to Rove. Rove is a bird brain and the main reason W sticks with his Texas friends like Rove is to protect all the secrets they have been hiding for years. Sheryl Crow should demand an apology from Rove. He is lucky she even ackowledged that low life was in the room.

Unlike many people in this comment pool, I actually know what I'm talking about.
Please everyone search greenhouse gases on Wikipedia to learn something. If not, stay ignorant. You're all more funny that way.

C02 is the most effective greenhouse gas(meaning it traps in heat better than any other greenhouse gas) and retarded amounts of evidence has been gathered and refined proving C02 increase since the human industrial revolution. This evidence was drawn from direct sampling of air pockets caught in ice cores over time over many different sampling areas around the world. As with the sulfur cycle, the 'natural' carbon cycle on Earth has lag reactive response, meaning it takes time to produce results that reflect changes.

Climate change throughout geologic history is the result of complicated cycling systems which have been known to be effected by catalysts, such as brightening of the sun, distance from the sun, increased sulfur & carbon levels in the atmosphere (from volcanics/impacts), continent drift/ocean circulation etc etc. Humans have been a catalyst, but the climate changes will and have been slow (on human timescale) and steady, but very fast on geologic timescale. Keep in mind it only would take ~3-4 average global temperature decrease to plunge the Earth into an Ice age or possible global snowball.... 3-5 increase would give palm trees at the poles like during the Triassic.
That being said, (I believe) the average global temp has risen a degree since the industrial age... and already that has proven to melt away polar caps, average worldwide glaciers and slight increase in sea-level.

Just for all you ignorant people out there. She is not a Canadian, she is a Missourian. Missouri IS a state in the mid-section of the United States of America, not a province of Canada.

Karl Rove is the kid in school that used to pay someone to protect him. He is by far the most evil neo-con there is, and that is saying something. The jokers that surround him are only one step out of the mire that this man lives in. Only good things will happen to us when this man is gone. I hope he hurries up and throws his support behind one of the 3 presidential hopefuls so we will know which one will go down the fastest.

look on you tube for the title global warming hoax. shown on the BBC (not shown here) ...
totally debunks global warming with facts. the left's religion is the environment and
their nirvana is to somehow make America the scapegoat of every issue that some how destroys the
world. Wake up. we are losing jobs, losing a middle class , and our own identity to people that are so far out of touch with reality (the Hollywood rich and politicians that grovel at their feet) --- find something else to worry about -- we are not going to boil in the oceans.

I was not there, at the table, watching, listening, and recording. So, I don't know what really was said, in what tone, or with what facial expressions. Given that level of personal ignorance, I can be pardoned for not knowing the full story. I do believe that both persons--Rove and Crow, have reasons to provide selective interpretations of the discussion. Thus, I claim to have no reason of mine to form strong judgments of who won or lost, who was right or wrong, or even if the discussion made any sense at all.

Sheryl Crow was born in Mississippi.

Even you ignorant rednecks ought to know that.

God bless her for having the courage to think about someone other than herself when she really doesn't have to and she's got enough money to ingore all you narrow minded cooks.

Have a nice day.

I didn't know that Kennett, Missouri was in Canada. Some of you people need to get some brains. Where do they grow vegetables like you? Selfishness and name calling isn't going to solve the Global Warming problem. Speak up and start holding these representatives to task. They will continue to lie and deceive unless they are stopped.
