To call this 'news' is a joke. Why is there no piece about 'celebrities' that are pro Chavez like most other sane Venezuelan people? Well I guess everything that is opposed to bush and his way of 'ruling' is evil. Who cares about this woman? Who cares about millions of innocent dead people?

I have always enjoyed her work but if Maria had to flee Cuba after Castro that is an admission that her parents were involved in the Mafia run Cuba that sought to use the country as their own private country club and piggy bank and profit from Cuban misery such as prostitution and poverty. Why is the U S government still a willing partner with organized crime in their attempts to overthrow the Cuban government and reclaim their ill-gotten gains? History will speak fondly of Castro and Chavez as men whose alliances were with the people who were trampled on by gangsters and corporations interested only in lining their own pockets. How will history remember George W. Bush? Stay out of politics Maria because you are not doing yourself any favors but aligning yourself with criminals.

NO MATTER HOW SOMEONE FEELS ABOUT A CURRENT POLITICAL LEADERS, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TELL ANYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THE COUNTRY THAT THEY WERE BORN IN; OR FOR THAT FACT TOLD NOT TO HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW OF THE WORLD.

You can sure tell who is the Chavista on the board, they call any woman who opposes Chavez a prostitute, bitch, desperate for attention, eg. C. Rice, and others. He says he speaks his mind but he disrespects everyone who doesn't support him. His friends are the most evil leaders in the world, and kill their own citizens who threaten their dominance. I hope this note irritates the Chavistas, but I also hope someday they wake up from the trance and realize Chavez is not like Christ, because at least Christianity is based on free will.

Even if bush is one devil, no necesita creer en un otra. Mi puesto esta cerca de Chavez, lo se todo. Chau pues compatriotas!

its interesting how the main stream US media uses individuals like her to promote their own agenda. Lets think in common wisdom for a min, if the radio station she loves so much attempted to assist a bunch of individuals in a coup against US pres GWB, do u honestly think their radio station would be allowed to remain on the air-- com-on, give me a break.. Furthermore, many of the coup perps would be arrested under provisions in the pat act and not see the light of day for years. The double standard applied to Vez vs the US gov is really apparent and not linked with reality. We have the right to go on TV in the US and say, we want to overthrow the US gov, but if we actually tried we would be crushed, just like the panthers and my such org of the late 1960's early 70's, who were far less of a risk then these so called anti-Chav groups in Vez who claim they sapport democracy yet took part in an illegal coup humm- I guess I'm missing something here.
