Jennifer Aniston has been set up on a blind date by friends.
The actress' recent dinner with film financier Ryan Kavanaugh at Los Angeles restaurant Il Sole was arranged by pals who told her it would be a good business opportunity just to get her out on a date.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "It was a test run just to get her out with someone.
"It was a business dinner. He's extremely wealthy. He could definitely help Jen finance projects."
Ryan, 32, was a producer on Jennifer Garner's latest film 'Catch and Release' and his company has raised over $4 billion to finance films.
Jennifer, 38, is keen to further her film career and also finance projects for her production company with ex-husband Brad Pitt, Plan B Productions.
Two days after her dinner with Ryan the 'Along Came Polly' star attended the 37th-birthday party of her ex-lover Vince Vaughn at West Hollywood's Sunset Tower Hotel.
A source said: "They are great friends."
Despite getting back on the dating circuit Jennifer is said to be unhappy with life in Los Angeles and is thinking of quitting Hollywood and moving back to New York.
