Anyone can be a father it takes someone special to be a dad!
Look at K-Fed for example, having sex with his boss when his girlfriend is pregnant with their second child. He doesn't seem to be fighting to support them.
Give Mr. Stern a break you can see he's hurting! If the other guy was the father, Anna would have put him down as such.
Her choice! Not ours!
It seems every time Howard was around Anna Nicole she was doing drugs. Why did she have a BAD infection in her butt when she checked into Hard Rock? Dirty needles, that is why and who gave her the shots in the butt; 'Howard'? Of course the report did not say that Howard gave her the shots, but ......Plus, have you ever seen the video of Howard, Anna Nicole, Howard's doctor friend who gave the prescription Methodone, and Larry in the bar?-----the gay bar, the gay doctor; I bet that Howard Stern is gay! (please if you are that type of person, do not come out of the closet at me, I am just stating facts about the video) Also, did you see the way Howard Stern carried the baby when they showed him getting out of the car with the baby in the Bahamas last week; who in there right mind carries a baby like that? A baby is to be carried close to the body so in the event you fall or trip, you can protect the baby..Howard is no good, a user, and miserable now that he can not keep his 'honey' all drugged up so she can make an ass out of herself, but yet make him money. No!, I do not feel sorry for Howard and I believe he is guilty!!!!!!!

Howard K Stern. Anna was a full grown woman, who indeed made her own choices, unfortunatey, they weren't in the best interest of not only herself, but not in the best interest of either of her children.
The drugs found in her hotel room were prescribed to Howard. That goes way beyond enabling. End of story.
Anybody who defends that slime ball must be on drugs themselves. HKS is doing what he was trained to do as a lawyer....lie...cheat...and steal. They take advantage of people and their money. He is a smart guy...he has plans...he takes longshots. He must have been neglected or controlled by his Jewish mom and is now desperate for attention to prove to the worl that he really is worth of being with a quality woman like Anna. Lets all have a good laugh at the sad scumbag when we here the news.
anna nicole was a gold digger who dug a lot of gold. She then atteacted a bunch of hangers on and gold diggers herself. It was poetic justice. The woman's life was a joke, and her death a circus. It's only to be expected from a person like her.
Howard Stern is a pathetic man, he is living in a house that he does not own with a baby that he knows is not his, off of blood money from a dead woman... give me a break... an enabler to Anna and her drug habit, holding a baby hostage from her father, and litigating at every turn. He should move out of that house, give Larry Birkhead his baby, and move back to California and get what is known in this country as a J-O-B and stop looking for blood money....
Danny is Dannylynn's father. You heard it here first. Remember that and close your mouth. Anna Nicole was extremely self-absorbed in an extreme way and her son doted on his mother. The location of the tatoo of his name should be hint enough that their relationship was too close.

HKS killed them both. You people need to be realistic. And if that baby is not taken from him very very quickly, I think he will kill himself and her. He is just all-a-bout-the-money. He killed Daniel because of jealousy and the fact that he was Anna's eyeball; then he killed her because she loves 'plenty of men' and does what she wants. Those people need to hurry up with the DNA to get it over with and let Daniellyn grow up to be the best daughter to her dad.

I have been around many goofy chicks like her and let me tell ya, there is no stopping them from getting high.You can try all the 'tough love' you want and that won't stop anything.They will just get rid of you and find someone else who will put up with it.

Howard is in a very awkward position.
I don't think he is guilty of anything excect not having the 20/20 hind site we all have after some tragedy befalls us.
I don't blame him for feeling the media has mistreated him. ANS's mom can be on TV and just outright call him a killer.
She just plain bothers me. You know, I really do believe Howard was going to take her to that place to get clean, and I don't think he wanted her all drugged up like you all imply. How could that serve him. He had to take her to court and represent her. Do you really think he wanted her loaded and out of control? I don't.
I think Howard knew her better than anyone else, and he knew if she just quit drugs she would have withdrawl and loos the child, and I think when she went to the hospital to get off when Birkhead was there, I think she likely played down how many drugs she was using so the amount the hospital was giving her was too little.
Anyway, all that is water under the bridge now.
I do wonder about Virgie though, she said, or he lawyer O'Quinn said that even if Larry gets that baby she wants her, she will take her, so I hope Larry opened his eyes and took one good look, as he might end up with her.
I wonder, when she can go on TV, and say my daughter has been on drugs all the years Daniel grew up and he could have taken her drugs all that time. Well, maybe he did, and I think he knew just where to find them if he wanted to help himself at that hospital room. But, Virgie, if you think Howard, who as far as I have heard so far uses nicotine gum, is unfit as a parent, why didn't you come after that baby when Anna was alive?
If we belive everything you have said about your daughter, how on earth could you call her a fit parent?

I sure don't know what is going to happen, but I think if Larry is not the father he is going to be heart broken, and if he is then Howard may be heart broken, Virgie cares not she just wants that baby. So, I think if Howard and Larry have a deal in the works mabye the best for all, I recently lost my father and a wonderful one he was, if you had two that cared so much for you, I don't think you could go wrong.
Howard Stern deserves persecuting. I don't trust him for a moment although his family seems supporting and nice from what I've seen on TV. It is extremely dysfunctional to devote your whole life to Anna without expecting a big pay off- like a percentage of Howard Marshall's estate. And why were the prescription drugs under his name? Isn't that illegal? Really people- he deserves what he gets with his shady behavior. I always felt Anna must have been very high to do that strange 'marriage' ceremony with him after Daniel died. Got methadone? In the co-dependent world Howard IS very resposible and Anna Nicole acted like a wasted whore. Sorry folks, truth hurts.

Er, if she was doing drugs during the pregnancy, he certainly could have addressed it in a family court and the court in term could have ordered her into mandatory rehab. When you are a danger to yourself or others (the 'other' in this case being the baby), the court can take control.
You're also assuming she was mentally competent when she was choosing to continue to do the drugs.
If Howard K. Stern knows he's the father, then why would he impede any testing to confirm it? The video Stern shot of Anna Nicole truly disoriented, with makeup smeared all over her face, while he mocked her and talked about the video being sellable is sad and dispicable. His behavior is dispicable. Many people who knew Anna Nicole well have been silent, and will soon start speaking out. Jim Carrey hit the nail on the head when, on the Today Show, he suggested that Anna's baby be renamed 'mealticket', because it seems that this is how Howard K. Stern has been relating to Anna Nicole Smith. She's supported his worthless act for years. If Howard K. Stern cared about Dannielynne, then why would he tolerate Anna being on drugs while she was prgnant. My suspicions are that he manipulated Anna Nicole with drugs, because she couln't not tolerate him when she was not drugged.
I think Howard Stern is some kind of self-serving nowhere weirdo who has to attach himself to some 'famous' female sex symbol like a disease, just so he can fulfill some uncontrollable personal need. Hopefully, he'll crawl back into whatever hole he came out of when this is all past and we won't be subjected to him in the media anymore.
To me it seems like Howard rolled the dice for tens or hundreds of millions of dollars. The only way he could hope to claim that money for himself would be to get himself appointed in control of the heir. Becoming a family member is really the only way to do that without legal restrictions on what one could do with the money. Son and brother? Bad idea, there goes a portion, so Stearn came closer to his goal when Daniel died. Ex wife of a billionaire? The money would be hers mostly and not his, so Stearns plans are forwarded to the 95 yard line when Anna died. Drugs during pregnancy? All the better for Stearn, complications from prenatal drug use could only make stealing candy from a baby even easier.
The only way it could have gone better for Stearn would have been if he fathered the child himself--but that scenario apparently didn't present itself. As I understand, the issue of drugs and pregnancy was what caused the breakup with Birkhead and afforded Stearn the opportunity to become the 'knight in shining pill bottles' for Anna and to whisk her away to a fantasyland where he hoped he could steal paternity from the Birkhead and wait for the brother and mother to kill themselves with chemicals.
Unfortunately for Stearn, the Bahamas may not be the fantasyland he imagined where any name on a birth certificate checkmates the true bloodline.
