Jennifer Lopez completed her jury duty in Los Angeles yesterday (02.04.07).
The 'Jenny from the Block' singer arrived at the Beverly Hills Courthouse at 8:30am accompanied by an assistant.
A source told gossip website TMZ: "She spent most of her time in the jury room texting on her mobile phone.
"She was really down to earth and talked to the other jurors."
At one stage in the proceedings, the 39 other prospective jurors were ushered into the hallway, while Jennifer remained in the courtroom with a specially assigned deputy.
Another source said: "The jury room was quite chilly and after lunch she came back wearing a sweater and scarf and accompanied by a different assistant."
At 2.30pm the case was resolved and all the jurors were free to leave.
