Daily Mirror newspaper editor Richard Wallace has apologized to Kate Middleton over publishing photos of Middleton that insinuated she was irritated with Prince William for his recent photo expose with two women that raised some eyebrows.
"It was taken by a freelance photographer in circumstances where we were later told she felt harassed," he said in a released statement. "We got it wrong and we sincerely regret that."
The photo of Kate was in Thursday's Mirror, showing her looking over her shoulder with a questionable headline and caption: Caption reading "stony-faced Kate" and headline "Look out Wills, here comes an heir-bashing."
Middleton contacted the Press Complaints Commission (PCC), claiming harassment to end the papers photo claims.
Kate Middleton is experiencing a crush of media curiosity and intrusion as she tries to go about her daily life, and the comparisons to William's beloved deceased mother, Princess Diana, are being brought up as cautionary caveats in hopes to avoid any mishaps.
