Mark Wahlberg's lazy action
Mar 30, 2007, 11:30 GMT

Mark Wahlberg arrives for the UK premiere of Antione Fuqua\'s new film, Shooter, EPA/DANIEL DEME
Mark Wahlberg only pretends to act tough when training for his action films.
The Oscar nominated actor, who is currently starring in 'Shooter' as a marine sniper and is also training to play boxer Mickey Ward in 'The Fighter', hates gruelling exercise because he is lazy.
Mark told BANG Showbiz: "I didn't enjoy training at all. I pretend to, I act like I enjoy it but I'm pretty lazy.
"It's something I do not look forward to - getting up at five every morning to have some guy scream at you. It is not my idea of fun."
The 35-year-old star also revealed he was bullied by the marines who trained him to be a sniper for his latest film.
He said: "It was very tough. Once you're on their turf you're dealing with real marines and they like to push you around a little bit.
"They like to test you out and see if you are going to call your agent. But I toughed it out."
