Angelina Jolie's kidnap fear

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are terrified for their son Pax Thein's safety after learning of a $100 million plot to kidnap him.
The Hollywood couple have reportedly tightened security after their bodyguards heard of a "credible and meticulously planned" bid to snatch their newly adopted three-year-old Vietnamese son.
The Los Angeles-based gang members were allegedly planning to demand a staggering $100 million ransom.
A source Life and Style Weekly magazine: "They're highly skilled operatives with little regard for human life. "Information came out that leaders of the gang ordered their Los Angeles members to devise a plan to kidnap Pax before demanding a ransom of $100 million for his safe return.
"Brad and Angelina would have a number of days to hand over the money or risk the boy's life."
The gang behind the alleged plot are said to have previously carried out a number of kidnappings.
The couple - who have two other adopted children, Maddox and Zahara, and a naturally conceived daughter Shiloh - were allegedly informed of the threat as Angelina was preparing to leave Vietnam with Pax earlier this month.
A friend of the couple said the "life drained out of Brad" when his security team told him his son was in legitimate danger.
A spokesman for the couple has denied the kidnapping claims.

Whatever it takes to be in the headlines, right?
Gee...Angelina, whats a cheap way we can get in the news? I don't know hunny, we could move to new orleans and build a huge house, or we could say gang members are trying to kidnapp our children!
It reminds me of the kidnapping of the child of that wealthy newspaper mogul many years ago (the Hurst's I believe) ... the details escape me at the moment, but it's a famous & tragic story. I'm glad that Brad & Angelina have a quality security crew who is able to stay on top of things like that ... it's times like that when you know they are worth every penny. I hope the FBI can get involved and help weed out the specific gang members involved.
Why do we care?
Seems to me for a lot less B&A could put a bounty on the heads of the so called leaders of this gang, and stand a good chance of getting results.

Hi, I don't understand what they are so upset about... the kid is adopted it's not like it is important to them or something, they could just go scoop up another little poor boy.
I wish they WERE successful; the kid would have had a better life.

This looks like a completely fabricated tabloid story. Notice how it sais 'allegedly', 'a source said' and 'a friend said'. < This is how tabloids manipulate and abuse *free speech* in order to print malicious lies and avoid lawsuits. disgusting! :(

First, this chick says taking his picture upsets him. Then she turns around and organizes a photo shoot and charges lots of money for them.
Incredible what dupes we all for buying into this hypocrite.
Its very un human to kidnap a young innocent kid despite of their parents being celebrities.

I can't imagine having a threat like this against your children. This type of thing must be terrifying to have to deal with each day. If this turns out to be true, I hope they find the perps and that they will be brought to justice.
