Ashton Kutcher's MTV prank show 'Punk'd' is set to end.

The 'Butterfly Effect' star has called time on his hidden camera show after eight series of fooling Hollywood stars.

Stars who have been 'Punk'd' in the past include Justin Timberlake who was fooled into thinking all his worldly possessions were being seized by the government for tax evasion, Oscar winner Halle Berry - who was made to believe she would not be allowed into her own movie premiere, and Lindsay Lohan - who was duped into thinking she had made a limo driver miss his baby's birth.

The first episode of the final season will air on US TV on April 7 and includes pranks on Hilary Swank, basketball legend Magic Johnson, Nelly Furtado and Jewel.

On June 5, Ashton, 29, will host a special 'Punk'd Awards' which will pay tribute to the top tricks the show has played, and the stars who reacted the best.
