The stunning actress infuriated fellow female stars by telling her representatives to warn them not turn up in the same colour.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "It caused quite a stir. The feeling is she's self-obsessed."
The movie - in which Rose plays a thrill-seeking stripper - also stars Rosario Dawson, Jordan Ladd and Sydney Tamiia Poitier.
Twins Elise and Electra Avellan - who have minor roles in the movie written by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez - ignored the suggested 'dress code' and arrived in brazen red outfits.
The source said: "It was basically a 'f**k you!' to Rose."
Another source said Rose's instructions were intended to help the girls co-ordinate so they would look "amazing and sexy and beautiful".
The 33-year-old also made demands during filming - insisting the crew cleaned a strip club pole because she was paranoid about the germs on it.
She said: "I made them Windex the pole. That's a lot of bacteria adding up over the course of an evening."
