Carmen Electra was "disgusted" with her body when she was a teenager.
The 'I Want Candy' star, famed for her sexy curves, struggled to love her figure when she was younger and even starved herself to lose weight.
The actress said: "As a teenager, I really hated my curves. I felt quite disgusted with myself and went through periods of not eating. It definitely wasn't healthy. Body image has always been something I've had to deal with but now I feel much more confident within myself."
Carmen, 34, shot to fame as a swimsuit-clad lifeguard in hit US TV show 'Baywatch' and has posed naked in Playboy magazine several times.
The brunette star was also a member of 'The Pussycat Dolls', when the group was a dance troupe and not a pop band.

You know, it really drives me up a wall that all these gorgeous women try to make themselves seem normal by claiming they hated their body as a teenager. Give it up. You were always gorgeous. You always knew it. And you always flaunted it. You're not normal. Get over it.
