Woody Harrelson - Hollywood, CA © Glenn Harris / PhotorazziThe actor's dad, Charles Harrelson, who had been serving two life sentences in a maximum-security Colorado federal prison for the 1979 slaying of a federal judge, died last week aged 69. A Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman, Felicia Ponce, said: "He was found unresponsive in his cell on March 15."Fremont County Coroner Dorothy Twellman has ruled that Charles most likely died of a heart attack in his sleep.Woody was just seven-years-old when his father was first jailed, for killing a Texan businessman.In 1982 - when Woody was in college - Charles was convicted of slaying a federal judge in San Antonio, Texas, in what prosecutors described as a $250,000 contract murder. He maintained his innocence and appealed in 1998, but the conviction was upheld. A representative for Woody was not available for comment.(C) BANG Media International
