Mel C's Spicey night
Mar 21, 2007, 9:00 GMT
Mel C will reunite with the Spice Girls - for a one-off concert.
The singer has rubbished claims she is not interested in reforming the group, but thinks it is unrealistic to go on a world tour while Emma Bunton and Mel B are pregnant and the other two girls are busy with their children
Despite the constant speculation about a reunion and the massive interest surrounding it, Mel, 33, claims a formal offer has never been put on the table.
She said: "We wouldn't want to reform like Take That - we can't make that kind of commitment at the moment. With the impending babies, family is priority in Spice World right now!
"A one-off show would be ideal, but we haven't had any offers yet."
Earlier this month, the Spice Girls' ex-manager Simon Fuller claimed he had persuaded Mel to rejoin her former bandmates.
Fuller said: "All of the girls are up for it. The reunion will definitely happen."
Mel - formerly known as Sporty Spice - was believed to be the only stumbling block in plans to reform the girl group.
Fuller, who masterminded the group's phenomenal worldwide success, also said the reunion will only be temporary.
He revealed: "The Spice Girls will come back with a big bang. They will do a whirlwind tour for six months and then be gone again."
The Spice Girls - who also comprised of Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell - were one of the most successful girl groups of all time, selling 53 million albums worldwide.
