I think they should allow the bear to stay right where he is. I used to live in germany I have seen the zoo's and animals are very well taken care of over there. Leave the poor cub alone!!!!

I was born in Germany after WW2 in 1947 while my father was in the US Army and my mother was working as a translator at the Nuremberg Trials. I thought the people would 'move on', but apparently there are lots of them that are still in the 'Zyklon B' mode when it comes to sick, abandoned, etc. animals and people.

This animal should be made an example of.

The activists who want this sweet little animal to die should go drown in the melting arctic circle. It is too late to just drive to the middle of nowhere and drop off the little bear to die. Let it live with the humans for the rest of its life. There are over 6 billion of us humans, so there will always be someone to take care of the bear (unless the Iranians and North Koreans decide to vaporize the planet).

Polar bears are becoming an endangered species, so why is there any doubt as to what needs to be done!

So I'm a human, it's a bear. Hey, but what a BEAR. I think that I've never seen such a beautiful creature in all my life. Humans included. Well, except my wife:) All I can say is we are humans and where beauty can be preserved then surely as the 'master species' that is our master task!

I do understand that this beauty is a beast in waiting and my Canadian friend tells me that in the wild polar bears are the only wild bears that actively hunt humans at night. However, as the master species we have a long tradition of keeping other species. I say let's keep this beautiful bear and send money to Thomas Doerflein to keep is heart warm as he cuddles his soon to be huge white bear! Good luck - Thomas Doerflein, Kindest regards, Mickey McNeill of Crikey Coop

He should be allowed to live. Polar bears are endangered and the wild life is what's killing them (well, actually living in the wild where crazy humans kill them and then skin them). He's happy where he is, let him be. I think those who suggested to kill him are going against everything they should be standing for.
