A Porsche and a paparazzo had an encounter in Palos Verde, California at the hands of driver Keanu Reeves on Monday night.
Reeves allegedly brushed a photographer standing in the path of his car as he maneuvered out of a parking space around 7:30 p.m., police said. The accident occurred in Rancho Palos Verdes, about 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
"The paparazzo was standing in the street in front of Mr. Reeves' 1996 Porsche when he was grazed by the car," the Sheriff's Department said in a statement Tuesday.
"The man fell to the ground. Paramedics were summoned and treated the man at the scene. He was then transported via ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment."
Reeves, 42, was unharmed in the incident. No charges were filed.
According to IMDB, Reeves has been cast in "The Night Watchman", as a bad cop who has an ethical epiphany. Production will begin in late April.

These photographers are nuts!!! I get that celebrities are going to get more attention...that's what happens when you put yourself out there for entertainment as a job. But at some point, these paparazzi have to reigned in. Yeah, I hear the whole 'Free Speech' argument...and its valid to a point. But there's something wrong when they are so invasive that you can't back your car out of a parking spot or drive down the street (preferably the right side of the street). There's only so much abuse that Keanu deserves for 'SPEED 2'.
