Nicole Richie collapses - again

Nicole Richie has allegedly collapsed on the set of 'The Simple Life' for the second time.

The star - who was briefly hospitalized for dehydration after collapsing on set on March 2 - is reported to have collapsed again at around 4pm on Wednesday (14.03.07) on location in Malibu.

A source told the New York Daily News: "She was taken to her trailer immediately. But she came around, so the crew didn't call an ambulance. She spent the rest of the day in her trailer and left Paris to complete the day's filming."

Nicole, 25, is also said to have had trouble "walking and speaking clearly" while filming the fifth series of her reality show with close friend Paris Hilton.

Series co-creator Jon Murray said: "There were a couple times when Nicole felt a little woozy and she sat down for a moment, but we continued within five to ten minutes.

"She had a dehydration thing earlier in filming, but she's been doing much better since then."

Former heroin addict Nicole, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, has sought nutritional advice after experiencing dramatic weight loss.

She is also currently facing charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) after she was stopped by police in December for driving the wrong way on a California Highway. She admitted to police she had smoked marijuana and taken the strong painkiller Vicodin.

For the latest series of 'The Simple Life' she and Paris, 26, are acting as camp counsellors.
