Lindsay Lohan's father party ban

Lindsay Lohan gave security guards at a party she was DJing at photos of her father so they could throw him out if he tried to see her.

Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan - who has just been released from prison, where he was serving a two year sentence for aggravated unlicensed driving and attempted assault - wants to be reunited with his daughter, but she is determined to avoid him.

Noel Ashman, the owner of New York nightclub Plumm where Lindsay was performing - said: "We went to great lengths to make sure Lindsay was safe."

The 20-year-old actress was guest of honour at the club on Thursday March 15 and extra security was hired and given photos of Michael. They were told to make sure he did not get inside.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Michael really wants to see Lindsay spin, but he's nervous. He also thinks he's going to get back with Dina. He's trying desperately to see Lindsay."

Witnesses in the club claim to have seen Lindsay - who was recently admitted to rehab and treated for alcoholism - drinking vodka from a water bottle throughout the night.

An eye witness said: "I saw waitresses carrying two Grey Goose vodka bottles away at about 12.20am so her table didn't appear to have tons of alcohol, but she was spotted pouring another bottle of vodka into a water bottle and sipping from that while smoking."

Later, Lindsay and her friends danced and sang to the Amy Winehouse song 'Rehab'.

The source added: "Lindsay sang along, and ate up all the attention."
