Charlotte Church would love her boyfriend Gavin Henson to propose to her, it has been reported.

Welsh singer Charlotte - who recently confirmed she is pregnant with the couple's first child - is desperate for her long-term lover to pop the question, despite insisting she is not thinking about marriage right now.

A source revealed to Britain's More magazine: "Charlotte is thrilled about being pregnant but it's not enough. Even before she got pregnant, she was going on about Gavin not proposing to her and wondering why. Now they're going to be a family, it's even more important to her to make things official.

"She's said that if Gavin got her an engagement ring, she would definitely say yes."

Charlotte, 21, has been dating Welsh rugby ace Gavin, 25, since 2005.

Gavin reportedly wants to focus on the rugby World Cup in September before thinking about marriage.

The couple share a home in Charlotte's native Llandaff, near Cardiff in South Wales.

Charlotte recently revealed she has loves being a housewife.

She said: "I love cooking and cleaning for Gavin. We'd rather be at home together than out partying."
