Victoria Beckham's Bel Air abode

Victoria Beckham has put in an offer for Meg Ryan's former Bel Air house.

Victoria has decided the mansion once owned by Meg would the ideal home for her and soccer star husband David when they move to Los Angeles this summer.

The sprawling $20 million property boasts seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, a games room and private gym, sauna and swimming pool.

Bel Air estate agent Joe Cunningham said: "Mrs Beckham was very impressed with the property, in particular its ocean views, which can be enjoyed from each bedroom.

"She also liked the close proximity to local amenities and schools."

Victoria, who has three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, was reportedly "smitten" with the architecture and garden, which would offer her family a great outdoor space.

She was also impressed with the property's advanced security system.

Cunningham added: "In addition to a large 8ft-high security fence that surrounds the property, there's also a front wall and gates that are ever higher at around 10ft."

The house is just minutes away from Victoria and David's close friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
