Regis-Surgery can be a blessing.Sep 5th, 2007 - 17:43:39

Regis,

I understand your reluctance. It does change your life, but it doesn't end it. Mine was three weeks ago, and I notice it's effects hourly. The surgery itself is a miracle. The recovery is not fun. However, everything in life has a beginning and an end.

Do EXACTLY what your surgeon tells you to do. You will be fine and around to enjoy your accomplishments and the future with your family.

The healing takes six months, (I am told). Be patient. lack of same, poor diet and your genes got you where you are. God is giving you a second chance. Use it with the Grace that He will also give to you.

I will pray for you.
